About Ms. Lenhart:
First off, I hope my excitement speaks for itself, but I LOVE ART! I have a degree in Art Education from the University of Central Florida. (Go Knights!) Before attending UCF I attended the greatest high school in the world... The Villages Charter School! (That's right! I have been in your shoes and I took these very classes many moons ago:) Two of my big passions have always been Art and VHS and can't wait to share that passion with you in my classroom! It's going to be a fantastic year!
About the classes:
2-D art- This is a crash course in all things related to 2 dimensional art. There are many forms of 2-D art to love and I hope to expose you to as many as possible! You can anticipate some drawing, painting, print-making, photography and loads of fun!
Drawing- We are going to work on developing accurate and proportional works in this course. We will be drawing with a variety of tools, such as charcoal, graphite, ink, and more! Be prepared to get you hands a little messy!
Painting- One of my favorites! This class is all about combining our drawing skills with wet media! We are going to be experiement with watercolors, watercolor pencils, acrylics and mixed media. Be ready to have some fun!
Human Figure Drawing- Our key word for this course is going to be REALISM. One of the most difficult things to draw is the human body. We are going to be perfecting our skills of proprortioning and accurate details. If you can learn to draw the human figure well, you can draw anything!
AP Art- Fasten your seatbelts kiddos, this is a fast paced course! You will be required to submit a certain number of works throughout the course which will then be graded by the AP board to determain if you will recieve college credit. This is your chance to develope your unique style as an artist! (And hopefully earn college credit while doing it!)

Hello Pals!
Welcome to Art Online! Obviously this is new territory for all of us- myself included. I am excited to see where this new journey takes us:) Please know that I am thankful for all of my talented and creative kiddos!
All assignements will be assigned, uploaded and turned in through google classroom. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to email me!
